Baktrian Kingdom – 160 BC

Obverse: Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Eukratides I Megas facing right, wearing a crested helmet adorned with a Bulls horn and ear.
Reverse: Two helmeted Dioscuri, each holding palm fronds and long spears while riding on horses rearing upward; monogram in field below.

LEGEND SYMBOLS
Obv: Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Eukratides facing right, wearing a crested helmet adorned with a Bulls horn and ear; all within a bead-and-reel border. Rev: Greek legend, BAΣIΛEΩΣ MEΓAΛOY above, EYKPATΙΔOY below, “Of the Great King Eukratides” translation. Helmeted Dioscuri, each holding palm fronds and long spears, on horses rearing upward to the right; monogram in field below horses.
